ConnectFor is a CSR project by the Rosy Blue Foundation. It is an online platform that aims to connect NGOs with volunteers and create structure within the Indian development sector.
This model has worked tremendously well in other countries, and we hope to achieve goals of the same magnitude within the Indian context.
We seek to enable volunteering in a way that is win-win for both the NGO and the volunteer. We look at the NGOs and try to best serve their needs by working closely with them. We currently have over 500 partner organizations across India. Our partner NGOs tell us what requirements they have that they are seeking to fulfill through volunteers, and we make those opportunities live on our website, and accessible to anyone who wants to volunteer. Our goal is to demonstrate how individuals’ donation of time and skill can be as effective as donating money. We are a fund-free platform because we do not charge our volunteers or our NGOs to use our basic service.
Currently, we work with volunteers and NGOs situated in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi & Ahmedabad. We have also conducted group volunteering for corporate engagement and CSR across all the major metros in India including Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, and several other cities.

Pros: The work flexibility at ConnectFor is genuinely a major plus. Being a Project Coordinator, I've appreciated the ability to adjust my schedule, which really helps with work-life balance. The team is super supportive, and there are good opportunities for learning and skill development within the tech sector.
Cons: Sometimes, the internal approval processes can feel a bit slow, especially during peak project times. While leadership is supportive, communication around changes could be more proactive to avoid confusion. This is common in the IT services industry, but worth noting.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the flexible work environment as it's a huge asset that truly benefits employees. Focus on improving internal communication channels and reviewing approval workflows to enhance overall efficiency, especially for Project Coordinator roles. This would further boost team morale.

The flexibility offered, including remote work options, is a significant benefit. The company culture fosters a sense of teamwork and encourages knowledge sharing. It's a good stepping stone for anyone looking to gain experience in diverse tech projects.
Cons: While growth is encouraged, the path isn't always clearly defined, and sometimes project demands can lead to extended hours, impacting work-life balance temporarily. Pros: Working as an Operations Associate at ConnectFor has been a really solid experience. I've learned a ton about process improvement within the non-profit tech space. The team culture is excellent; colleagues are super supportive and always willing to collaborate, which creates a genuinely positive environment. It's a place where you feel valued, and the leadership genuinely cares about employee well-being, fostering good relationships.
Cons: While there are learning opportunities, the career growth path for an Operations Associate sometimes feels a bit unclear or slower than I'd hoped. Also, internal communication across different departments could be more streamlined. Sometimes, it takes extra effort to get a full picture of ongoing projects. It's not a major issue, but more clarity would definitely help efficiency.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearly defining career progression paths for individual contributors and explore tools or practices to enhance cross-departmental communication.
