Pros: My immediate team lead was great, really supported us as Software Engineers. The work itself, focusing on backend systems, was engaging and you got to learn a lot. Plus, the work-life balance for remote work was pretty good.
Cons: Upper leadership at this mid-sized tech company sometimes lacks a clear vision, which can be frustrating. Decisions felt inconsistent and sometimes came out of left field. It made long-term planning for projects tough.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication from the top down. Employees need to understand the strategic goals better. More consistent decision-making would really help morale and project execution.
