Company Overviews

Regulus closes the critical gap between long-range strategic systems and the last few hundred meters of point defense, providing the autonomous last line of defense against drones and other uncrewed threats.
Regulus C-UxS solutions redefine modern defense against uncrewed threats with AI-powered, decentralized mesh and point-defense systems and networks. Our soft-kill EW Ring family and the DART hard-kill interceptor can each be deployed as independent products; powered by LeC2 and Orchestra - our autonomous mesh command-and-control network - they seamlessly connect to create Ring Origami, an integrated close-in defense layer that detects, coordinates, and neutralizes current and future close-range threats in real time - with no person on the loop.
While most defense startups focus on tactical-range interception (2–5 km) - an approach whose effectiveness is rapidly eroding as threats harden, communications improve, and autonomy and maneuverability increase - Regulus is building the resilient, close-range shield modern forces need around them. Strategic systems such as lasers, missiles, and other long-range interceptors remain essential for extended-range defense, a domain dominated by primes due to its complexity, cost, and long development cycles; Regulus complements these systems by securing the final meters.
Built on unmatched combat experience and hundreds of combat-proven systems, Regulus is creating a scalable, multi-domain C-UxS architecture designed to outpace emerging threats. As defense and homeland security markets accelerate their demand for next-generation autonomy, Regulus is positioned to become a new-era defense leader - driving the counter-uncrewed revolution and defining the future of intelligent defense infrastructure.

Solid Tech Role with Room for Improvement
Pros: The work itself is engaging, particularly for those interested in defense and aerospace technologies. I appreciated the flexibility offered, allowing for a good work-life balance. The team I worked with was supportive and skilled, making collaboration smooth. Good opportunities for learning new tools and methodologies.
Cons: Sometimes, communication from senior leadership can feel a bit distant, making it hard to grasp the broader company vision or upcoming changes. Process improvements could be more streamlined. Opportunities for promotion feel a bit slow-moving compared to other tech companies.
Advice to Management: Consider more frequent, direct communication from leadership regarding company strategy and long-term goals to keep employees aligned and motivated. Streamlining some internal processes would also be beneficial.

Solid Tech Role with Room for Improvement
Pros: The engineering challenges are engaging, and the team environment is generally supportive. I appreciated the opportunity to work on complex systems and learn new technologies. The company provides a stable work environment, and the remote work options are decent.
Cons: Sometimes communication between departments can be slow, leading to minor delays on projects. The onboarding process could be more streamlined for new hires joining the tech team. Some legacy systems require significant updates.
Advice to Management: Focus on refining cross-departmental communication and investing in modernized tooling for faster project execution. Better integration of new hires into ongoing projects would also be beneficial.

Hybrid Model for Software Engineers is Okay
Pros: I liked the option for 2-3 WFH days a week. It's good for focus time, especially for software development tasks. The Seattle office is pretty modern when you do come in.
Cons: The 'flexibility' often depends on your specific manager. Some teams require more onsite days than others, making true hybrid work inconsistent. It's not always easy to collaborate effectively on agile teams when half the group is remote.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid policy across all engineering teams. Make sure the WFH days are consistent, so everyone knows what to expect, especially for remote Software Engineers.
