Summary
Responsible for the efficient overall operation of the hotel, in line with Hyatt’s purpose: to care for people so they can be their best
Ensures delivery of brand signature experiences while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations
Oversees all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and support departments
Drives operational excellence and ensures all departments achieve established service and financial targets
Maintains consistent adherence to Hyatt brand standards across both Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Keraton at The Plaza
Monitors guest satisfaction and implements continuous improvement initiatives
Leads and supports department heads to achieve high performance and service quality
Ensures effective cost control, budgeting, and revenue management in collaboration with Finance and Revenue teams
Strengthens employee engagement, development, and retention through strong leadership and coaching
Ensures compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards
Represents the hotel in the local community, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners
Supports strategic planning and execution to drive business growth and brand positioning in the Jakarta luxury market
Qualifications
University degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or in a similar leadership role in a luxury hotel environment
Strong background in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage operations
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
Excellent understanding of luxury guest expectations and service delivery
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Prior experience with international hotel brands, preferably Hyatt, is an advantage
Familiarity with the Jakarta market and luxury segment is preferred
