Pros: There's solid initial training when you start, especially for learning new physical security solutions. You get decent exposure to different access control systems, which is good for your resume, especially if you're new to the industry.
Cons: Real internal promotions don't happen often, which is tough if you want to climb the ladder quickly. It felt like opportunities for growth, especially for technical roles like mine in the Chicago, IL office, were pretty scarce.
Advice to Management: Create clearer career paths and open up more internal job postings. It would help a lot with retaining talent, especially in specialized technical roles.

Pros: As a Field Service Technician, I had pretty consistent work installing and servicing safe and vault equipment. The demand for physical security solutions in the commercial sector keeps things steady. For a global corporation, the job security here felt pretty solid.
Cons: We did see some restructuring, which always makes you wonder about your role. New product lines, like access control systems, can change things fast too. If you want to move up, internal opportunities aren't super frequent for our field roles.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent during company reorganizations. It helps a lot. Also, create clearer paths for career growth, especially for us field teams.

Pros: Working as a Sales Manager, the remote flexibility was a big plus for managing my schedule. Gunnebo has a strong portfolio of physical security products, which makes selling easier. Some of my colleagues were great; we really supported each other, especially navigating new access control systems.
Cons: The company culture itself felt pretty disconnected, especially as a remote employee in a global company. There's often a lack of consistent direction from upper management. Career growth wasn't always clear, and it felt like you had to really push to get noticed.
Advice to Management: Try to create more consistent leadership and better foster a cohesive culture, especially for remote teams. Communication could really be improved across different regions to make everyone feel more connected to the Gunnebo mission.
