SQL Software Engineer

As a SQL Software Engineer at Relational Financial Solutions, you will be an integral member of our Debt Collection & Recoveries software integration & reporting team, contributing to the development, maintenance, and support of SQL-based systems. You will work across various stages of the project lifecycle, focusing on SQL code development, ETL procedures, and reporting, helping ensure our software solutions run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach, as you will interact with cross-functional teams to address UAT and production support issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL code using MS SQL Server.
• Support, extend, and optimize ETL processes (MS SQL SSIS jobs and/or Stored Procedures).
• Manage and enhance reporting solutions.
• Perform application parameterization to meet evolving requirements.
• Resolve UAT and production support tickets efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics field.
• Fluency in English Language (both oral and written).

The following are considered as a plus:

• Proficiency in Transact-SQL.
• Strong understanding of Database Design Concepts (e.g., MS SQL Stored Procedures).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, specifically Microsoft SSIS.
• Familiarity with Reporting tools, such as Microsoft SSRS.
• Knowledge of banking and credit-related technologies, including Debt Collection & Recoveries software.
