Pros: I've really enjoyed my time here as a Software Engineer at this tech company. The team I work with is fantastic – everyone is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely wants to help each other succeed. There are always new challenges that push you to learn and grow, and management is more approachable than in previous roles. The flexibility of remote work is also a huge plus.
Cons: While leadership has made strides, there can sometimes be a disconnect in communication regarding broader company strategy or shifts in priorities. This sometimes leads to extra rework or confusion on project direction. Ensuring consistent messaging and decision-making across all levels would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Continue focusing on transparent communication from the top down. Clearly articulate strategic goals and how departmental work aligns with them to minimize confusion and ensure everyone is moving in the same direction.
