There's a genuine commitment to serving local communities. I also found the work itself to be engaging, dealing with essential infrastructure projects.
Cons: While flexibility exists, sometimes getting approvals for schedule adjustments can be a bit bureaucratic. Career progression pathways could be more clearly defined, and while there are learning opportunities, they aren't always structured or readily available for everyone. More proactive communication from higher management about strategic changes would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining approval processes for work flexibility and create more transparent, structured career development plans for employees at all levels. Regular company-wide updates on strategy and direction would also be helpful.
