Pros: The best part was definitely the team. We always had each other's backs, especially during busy dinner rushes. It felt like a real community working towards a common goal. I also appreciated the opportunity to develop my customer service skills and learn various aspects of front-of-house operations in a vibrant restaurant setting.
Cons: At times, especially during peak hours or seasonal events, the restaurant could feel a bit understaffed, leading to increased pressure on the existing team. Sometimes communication between shifts or departments could be improved to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding service standards or daily specials.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the strong team spirit. Consider ways to enhance communication flow and ensure adequate staffing during predictable busy periods to better support the team on the floor.

Pros: The best part of working at Zizzi is the team. You really rely on each other during a busy Friday night service, and most colleagues are genuinely friendly and willing to help. It's a fast-paced environment, which can be exciting, and you definitely learn a lot about customer service and working under pressure. It's a good starting point in the hospitality industry.
Cons: While the team is great, management can sometimes feel a bit stretched or inconsistent, making approvals or feedback a little slow. The biggest challenge is definitely the work-life balance during peak seasons or weekends; shifts can be long and unsociable. Pay is pretty standard for entry-level restaurant jobs, and benefits aren't particularly standout.
Advice to Management: Consider more consistent training for managers and team leaders, as well as exploring ways to offer more predictable scheduling or better compensation to retain staff, especially during busy periods.
