About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in St. Ingbert. In this full-time hybrid position, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our innovative cloud-based Warenwirtschaftslösung (inventory management solution) as well as the maintenance and improvement of our existing standalone software. Your work will involve collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to expand our software architecture with industry-relevant components and integrate interfaces for customers and merchants. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects within a growing company that values innovation, agility, and employee development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, along with proven experience in object-oriented programming. You should have solid knowledge of development tools and environments such as git, and familiarity with programming languages like Go or XBase is advantageous. Experience working with relational databases and RESTful APIs is essential, and additional business management knowledge will be considered a plus. We value high levels of initiative, independence, engagement, and reliability, as well as strong communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Continuously develop and enhance our existing Warenwirtschaftssoftware built in XBase, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
- Contribute to the future development of our new cloud-based solution using the Go programming language.
- Participate in requirements analysis, collaborate on defining innovative and effective solutions.
- Perform error analysis and troubleshooting at the 3rd level support to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Manage and oversee the rollout of software updates and new features, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption.
- Engage in cross-departmental projects to support company-wide initiatives and technological advancements.
- Work closely with internal departments and external service providers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our software solutions.
