About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer to join our STB-Team, responsible for managing the seamless integration of our Lexware Office clients with online collaboration platforms and their tax advisory partners. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the accurate and timely transfer of accounting data in the correct format, enabling tax firms to process information immediately without additional adjustments. Your expertise will help us maintain and enhance our data transfer systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and efficiency.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment, utilizing your technical skills to solve complex problems and contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of financial workflows. As a Senior Developer, you will also have the chance to influence system architecture, mentor junior team members, and participate in innovative projects that impact the future of our services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role, with a strong background in backend development and system integration.
- Extensive knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, with a focus on developing robust and scalable applications.
- Experience working with APIs, data formats like XML, JSON, and familiarity with data transfer protocols.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, SQL, and data security standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively within international teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable data transfer systems that facilitate the seamless movement of accounting data between Lexware Office and tax advisory platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and optimize APIs and data formats to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold high-quality standards.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software infrastructure.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and system configurations clearly and comprehensively.
- Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
