The Role
• Design and implement highly available backend services using Kotlin/Spring Boot and actively shape the system architecture.
• Ensure smooth operation through one-click deployments, dry runs, and technical support for rollouts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, Product Owners, and adjacent teams to clarify technical and functional questions.
• Analyze complex business processes and define/refine user stories in close collaboration with the business unit.
• Proactively analyze and resolve issues in production and quality assurance environments.
• Embrace the "You build it, you run it" philosophy, optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructures.
What You'll Need
• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in development with Kotlin (JVM), with a focus on quality and security (e.g., JUnit, SonarQube, OWASP).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, persistence technologies (JPA/Hibernate, Flyway), and microservices/event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), agile software development (Scrum/Kanban), and effective stakeholder management.
• Hands-on mentality, responsibility for production operations; full-stack and initial AI experience are advantageous.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
