About The Role
We are seeking a Fullstack Software Developer (m/w/d) for a fixed-term position of 12 months to join our IT business division in Hamburg. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our internal application TKeasy, which serves as the core operational platform for our service centers. Your work will support the efficient processing of customer inquiries and ensure the application's stability, scalability, and modernization. You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and contribute to the system’s ongoing evolution. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects within a dynamic environment that values innovation, quality, and user-centric solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, along with at least three years of fullstack Java expertise. Experience with React is highly desirable. You should possess a strong passion for writing clean, maintainable code and demonstrate a solid understanding of software craftsmanship principles. Expertise in testing methodologies and test automation is essential. Additionally, familiarity with legacy codebases and experience in refactoring such systems will be advantageous. Knowledge of integrating AI tools into the development process and an analytical, structured approach to problem-solving are important. Strong communication and documentation skills are also required to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Continuously develop and maintain existing applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle, adhering to predefined and well-understood design principles.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the production environment by actively participating in operational responsibilities and incident management.
- Maintain high code quality, system stability, and comprehensive test coverage to guarantee robust and sustainable software solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with product owners, system architects, developers, internal stakeholders, and customers to deliver features that meet business needs and technical standards.
