An innovative organisation in the warehouse automation and logistics sector is looking for a Cloud Engineer. You will join an international team dedicated to providing, operating, and maintaining high-performance customer cloud environments on AWS.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provisioning, operating, and maintaining customer cloud environments on AWS, including remote management of servers.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Managing Windows-based systems and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, including general Linux administration.
- Operating and troubleshooting database systems with a focus on MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Managing network connectivity and security, including AWS VPN and OPNsense firewalls, while communicating technical requirements to client IT departments.
What We're Looking For
- Proven professional experience in the operation and management of AWS-based cloud environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and Git-based version control platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux administration combined with solid knowledge of network concepts and VPN technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English for technical stakeholder management.
- Legal authorisation to work in Germany and a background in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
