About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at EDAG Engineering GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-availability backend services primarily based on Kotlin and Spring Boot frameworks. Your work will directly contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive solutions and digital platforms that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to deliver scalable and robust backend systems. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, particularly in backend technologies. Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
