About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer (m/w/d) with a focus on Configuration and CAD Automation to join our team at the Nürnberg location. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining our configuration software Speedmaxx, which interfaces with the CAD system AutoDesk Inventor. Your expertise will contribute to streamlining our design and configuration processes, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality outputs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, develop, and implement innovative solutions that support our engineering and production departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful IT projects, improve existing processes, and support end-users in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed vocational training or degree in production, engineering, or IT-related fields. Experience with CAD software, particularly AutoDesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling tools, is essential. A strong interest in automation, process optimization, and tailoring solutions to user needs is required. Basic programming knowledge or experience with scripting languages is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a structured, autonomous working style coupled with analytical thinking skills. Fluency in German is mandatory, and good English skills are preferred to facilitate collaboration within our international team.
Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include the administration and continuous development of our configuration software Speedmaxx, along with its communication with AutoDesk Inventor. You will analyze operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system stability and performance. Building, refining, and maintaining IT processes and workflows will be a key aspect of your role. You will actively participate in IT projects, especially those involving the implementation of new configuration requirements and the development of rule-based automation processes. Providing direct support to users through helpdesk tickets and documentation will also be part of your daily tasks, ensuring comprehensive knowledge sharing and process transparency within the organization.
