About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer (w/m/d) specializing in C programming to join our Solution Development team at Element Logic Germany GmbH. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in C programming, with a keen interest in automation and logistics technology. You should have a passion for developing innovative solutions and be eager to expand your knowledge in related areas such as RESTful APIs, Linux (RedHat), relational databases (Oracle), and cloud functions (AWS/Oracle). Proficiency in German and good command of English are required for effective communication with international teams and clients. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, perseverance in troubleshooting complex issues, and a proactive approach to collaboration and communication. Self-organization, meticulous documentation, and willingness to travel for on-site client engagements are essential qualities. Prior experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and version control tools like git will be advantageous. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining warehouse management solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This includes designing, implementing, and commissioning customized IT logistics systems to streamline warehouse operations. You will coordinate with various teams to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and implementation goals are met effectively. Supporting employees and resource planning for projects will be part of your duties, along with comprehensive documentation of solutions to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades. Additionally, you will support configuration, testing, and deployment of solutions within our Warehouse Management Software SuPCIS-L8, collaborating closely with the delivery and customer success teams. Your role will also involve engaging directly with customers during requirements analysis, system implementation, and training, which may require travel to client sites. Ensuring adherence to best practices, maintaining high standards of quality, and providing technical support during complex problem resolution are integral to your responsibilities.
