About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Developer / IT-Berater (m/w/d) to join our Frontend department. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, including Braunschweig, Ratingen, and Frankfurt am Main. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end solutions that deliver real value to our customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing modern microservices and software architectures, creating responsive and accessible web interfaces, and ensuring high-quality backend services. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and other developers in agile teams, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews to uphold best practices and maintain high standards of quality. This position offers a challenging environment where innovation, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction are prioritized.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in computer science or a related field, with several years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer. Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, coupled with experience in Spring Boot for microservices development, is essential. You should have extensive knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, and be comfortable working with UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, MUI, or PrimeNG. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, including data modeling, is required. Familiarity with tools like Figma for prototyping and automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in German (fluent) and English (very good) are necessary, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Additional experience with Kafka and agile development tools like GitLab, Jira, and Confluence will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end solutions that provide tangible benefits for clients, actively contributing to the design of microservices and modern software architectures.
- Implement modern, responsive, and accessible web user interfaces using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue, supported by UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS, MUI, or PrimeNG.
- Translate UX/UI designs created in tools like Figma into high-quality frontend code, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Build and operate high-performance backend services utilizing Java or Kotlin, employing Spring Boot for microservices, and ensuring reliable integration with databases and external APIs.
- Maintain high software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to Clean-Code principles.
- Provide expert advice to clients on architecture, technology choices, and implementation strategies, communicating complex technical information effectively.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and cross-disciplinary development teams within an agile framework, actively participating in sprint planning and reviews.
- Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with best practices, architecture standards, and quality benchmarks across the team.
