About The Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Kertos GmbH, you will play a vital role in advancing our platform into a product of exceptional class. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions that simplify compliance processes for our clients. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional squad, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality features on a weekly basis, influencing product decisions, and ensuring the platform remains the European leader in compliance automation. Your work will directly impact how companies across Europe manage their compliance obligations, making complex regulatory tasks effortless and trustworthy. Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or an equivalent field of experience.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on web applications, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
- Technical proficiency in key parts of our stack, including TypeScript (React), Python (Django / FastAPI), databases, and Docker.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset and a passion for building impactful, scalable products.
- Experience with AI engineering is considered a plus, reflecting our focus on innovative AI-driven compliance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Kertos as the leading platform for compliance automation in Europe, delivering features that significantly reduce audit preparation time from weeks to hours.
- Design and implement comprehensive product experiences across our full tech stack, ensuring seamless integration from backend APIs to user interfaces.
- Enhance automation features to feel intuitive and reliable, continuously improving recommendations, workflows, and system stability to foster customer trust.
- Take ownership of your work from concept through to deployment, actively measuring and optimizing the user impact of your contributions.
- Improve product reliability and performance to enable customers to confidently automate sensitive compliance processes.
- Drive engineering excellence by refining developer tools, testing procedures, and workflows to boost productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
