About The Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Kertos, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of compliance automation technology. Your role involves building and maintaining end-to-end product experiences, encompassing both backend systems and user interfaces, to deliver high-impact solutions that redefine industry standards. You will work within a dynamic, cross-functional squad that includes product managers, designers, and other engineers, contributing to weekly releases and strategic product decisions. Your expertise will help us develop features that drastically reduce audit preparation time from weeks to hours, making compliance effortless and reliable for our clients. You will have the opportunity to lead initiatives from concept to deployment, ensuring the highest quality standards and system reliability. This role offers a unique chance to work on innovative AI-driven solutions, leveraging a modern tech stack, and directly influence the way compliance automation is done across Europe.
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on web application development.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Technical proficiency in key parts of our stack, including TypeScript (React), Python (Django or FastAPI), databases, and containerization tools like Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with an ownership mindset and a passion for building impactful products.
- Experience with AI engineering is considered a plus, though not mandatory.

- Develop and maintain Kertos as the leading platform for compliance automation in Europe, delivering features that significantly reduce audit times and improve user experience.
- Build comprehensive, end-to-end product experiences across our full tech stack, from APIs to user interfaces, ensuring seamless and effortless compliance actions.
- Enhance automation capabilities by improving recommendations, workflows, and system reliability to foster customer trust and satisfaction.
- Take ownership of your projects from initial concept through to deployment, continuously measuring and optimizing user impact.
- Improve product reliability and robustness, ensuring automation solutions handle sensitive processes securely and confidently.
- Contribute to engineering excellence by refining developer experience, tooling, testing protocols, and delivery processes to accelerate innovation and quality.
