About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our innovative technology teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing the best solutions available in the market. You will support agile teams that develop and maintain our cloud-based KINDcloud platform, built on Azure as a microservices architecture. This platform serves as the foundation for various applications and services within the organization. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing backend solutions using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure Functions, Message Queues, and CosmosDB. Working within an agile environment, you will participate in Scrum and Kanban methodologies, contributing to daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and other agile artifacts. This role offers a unique chance to shape the future of our digital infrastructure while collaborating with talented professionals in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in agile software development, with a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification. You should possess strong analytical skills and methodical approaches to problem-solving, enabling you to contribute effectively across various projects. A passion for innovation, current technological trends, and lifelong learning is essential. Proficiency in German at a very good level (minimum C1) is required to facilitate seamless communication within the team and organization. Additionally, you should enjoy working collaboratively, supporting team members, and driving collective success. Prior experience with cloud-based architectures, microservices, and relevant technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and Azure services will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

As a Backend Developer at KIND, your core responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining microservices within our KINDcloud platform hosted on Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, reliable, and efficient backend solutions. Your tasks will involve integrating various technologies such as Azure Functions, Message Queues, CosmosDB, and others to build a robust infrastructure supporting our applications. You will participate actively in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery. Additionally, you will be involved in optimizing existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features aligned with business requirements. Your role will also encompass staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
