Development Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Develop E/E systems for interior control units, including seating, steering wheel, and comfort functions.
• Actively shape the future of interior functions within a highly motivated team.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of a modular control unit: specification, supplier selection, development, and release.
• Design and partition hardware and software components.
• Collaborate closely with module leaders to achieve targets for features, cost, weight, quality, and timelines.
What You'll Need
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Sound professional experience in hardware and software development for electronic control units.
• In-depth knowledge of bus systems (CAN, LIN), microcontrollers, circuit technology, and vehicle electrical system architecture.
• Experience with established automotive E/E processes, project management, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
