The Role
• Focus on the ergonomic design of seating and workstations within military vehicle development.
• Integrate insights from existing products, customer feedback, requirements, specifications, and market analyses.
• Collaborate closely with customers, research and development departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute projects.
• Take active responsibility throughout concept development, series development, testing, validation, homologation, and series support.
• Develop concepts, dimension components, and create assembly structures, parts lists, and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide active support during and ensure successful execution of testing activities.
• Act as a central point of contact, coordinating communication between clients and development partners.
• Hold technical development responsibility for assigned areas.
What You'll Need
• A technical degree in mechanical engineering, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in the development, manufacturing, and release of vehicle seats, with expertise in ergonomics and workstation design within vehicle technology.
• Expert knowledge of CAD systems, particularly Creo, and proficient experience with RAMSIS for ergonomics.
• Familiarity with regulations for seats, especially ECE regulations.
• Fluency in English and strong proficiency with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, along with intercultural competence.
• Leadership qualities and readiness to assume technical and functional responsibility.
• Strong negotiation skills to successfully implement complex projects.
