About The Role
We are seeking an engaged and highly qualified Senior Fullstack Java Developer (m/w/d) with a focus on Java EE to join our Application Development Composite department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications within an agile environment, primarily focusing on the insurance sector. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of our digital solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Collaboration with product owners and cross-functional teams will be central to translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification, complemented by relevant professional experience. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Java development, particularly with Java and Jakarta EE, are essential. Familiarity with modern development tools and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and Selenium is required. Experience working with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, including hybrid approaches, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for daily project management and documentation is expected. Additional experience with Cobol, SQL, or mainframe technologies is advantageous but not mandatory. The candidate should demonstrate high reliability, excellent communication skills, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Fluency in German at a minimum of C1 level is essential for effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
