About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team either in Munich or Berlin. This role offers the opportunity to work in full-time or part-time capacity, contributing to the development of scalable and high-performance systems that serve millions of users. As a Backend Developer at MyPoster GmbH, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend features using Symfony, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems. Your work will directly impact the customer experience by building seamless APIs and services that connect our shops, logistics, and production units. You will have the autonomy to make technical decisions, introduce innovative solutions, and continuously optimize our architecture. This role is ideal for someone passionate about backend development, eager to work with modern technologies, and motivated to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and implemented promptly.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of professional experience in backend development with Symfony or a comparable PHP framework. You should have a strong understanding of design patterns, relational databases, and modern web architectures. A high standard of code quality, critical thinking, and a passion for complex problem-solving are essential. Excellent communication skills in German (minimum B2 level) are required to collaborate effectively within the team. Additionally, you should be proactive in self-development, open to experimenting with new AI tools, and capable of maintaining focus during high-pressure phases. Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and cloud hosting environments is highly desirable.

• Develop and implement high-performance backend features using Symfony, taking full ownership from development to deployment.
• Create and optimize APIs and services that facilitate smooth integration between our online shops, logistics, and production systems.
• Continuously improve our architecture, evaluate new technologies, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our tech stack.
• Maintain system stability through clean code practices and automated testing, regularly challenging and refining existing solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams, sharing knowledge and ensuring the best possible customer solutions.
