The Role
- Spearhead initiatives within the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC)
- Build, operate, and evolve operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services
- Oversee ongoing operations and expansion of the ESC
- Collaborate with global AWS teams and influence service evolution
- Contribute to enhancing day-to-day operations and ensuring continuous improvements
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents
What You'll Need
- Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
- Experience in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or building and operating systems at scale
- National of an EU member state
- Ability to lead creation and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs)
