About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team, responsible for defining, maintaining, and developing system requirements for complex hardware systems. The successful candidate will design and develop system architectures, ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical components, modules, and assemblies. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to align system requirements, architectures, and interfaces. You will oversee planning, coordination, and synchronization of development, supplier, and testing activities, ensuring that all project milestones are met with high quality standards. Additionally, the role includes verifying subsystem and component functionality, producing regular reports on project progress, and actively driving the technical integration of hardware systems within larger systems. Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Informatics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirements Engineering
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge of PTC Creo is advantageous
- Experience with DOORS NG and/or Enterprise Architect is preferred
- Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and conceptual skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; willingness to travel for business purposes
Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and develop system requirements for complex hardware systems
- Create and develop system architectures aligned with project and operational needs
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems
- Ensure functional requirements, system safety, and quality standards are met throughout development, manufacturing, and integration processes
- Coordinate and align system requirements, architectures, and interfaces with internal teams and external suppliers
- Plan, monitor, and synchronize development, supplier, and testing activities to adhere to project timelines
- Conduct verifications of subsystems, components, and assemblies to ensure functionality and compliance
- Prepare and present regular reports on project status, quality, and performance metrics
- Drive the technical integration and successful deployment of hardware systems within larger systems
