About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Revit Application Developer to join our team at our Ennepetal location. In this role, you will support our global organization by enhancing and applying Revit-based solutions to streamline workflows and improve project outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom Revit plugins using the Revit API with C#/.NET, creating complex Dynamo scripts to optimize processes, and providing technical support to BIM users worldwide. Your expertise will help ensure high data quality, facilitate seamless system integrations, and promote the adoption of innovative BIM methodologies across our projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of construction technology and software development, contributing to cutting-edge building information modeling initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, along with relevant professional experience. Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework is essential, with additional experience in Python considered advantageous. You should have substantial experience working with the Autodesk Revit API and a solid understanding of BIM concepts and Revit as a platform. Knowledge of Dynamo visual programming is required, along with excellent communication skills in both German and English. The ability to work independently, with a structured and detail-oriented approach, is crucial. Practical user experience with BIM workflows and a proactive mindset for innovation and process improvement are highly valued. Willingness to travel is also expected.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the application of Revit within our global organization, ensuring efficient workflows and tool adoption.
• Develop, test, and maintain custom Revit plugins utilizing the Revit API with C#/.NET to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.
• Create and manage complex Dynamo scripts to streamline project workflows and increase operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to BIM users worldwide, including creating documentation for developed tools and processes.
• Develop system integrations between Revit and other enterprise systems such as ERP, databases, or GIS platforms to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Extract, analyze, and validate BIM data to maintain high standards of data quality and consistency across projects.
• Design, develop, and optimize Revit families to meet project-specific requirements and enhance model accuracy.
• Establish and maintain a global revision process to ensure adherence to high standards, consistency, and version control of Revit projects and tools.
