About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer for our MCBS Core team at freenet DLS GmbH in Büdelsdorf. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work within an agile environment, contributing to the development of core systems that manage customer and contract data, including billing and invoicing processes. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining microservices primarily in Java, as well as developing new projects using TypeScript on AWS cloud infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with the flexibility to operate in a hybrid work model that combines on-site and remote work.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess several years of practical experience in software development, complemented by a relevant degree in IT or equivalent vocational training. You should have hands-on experience in one of the following areas:
- Java development, working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and microservices architecture using SpringBoot.
- TypeScript, Node.js, and familiarity with AWS cloud technologies including Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and serverless frameworks.
Additionally, enthusiasm for emerging technologies and openness to integrating artificial intelligence into solutions are highly valued. Strong communication skills in German, confidence in team collaboration, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies are also desirable.
