About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer (w/m/d) to join our dynamic SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution team in Heidenheim an der Brenz, Germany. In this key role, you will be responsible for the technical consulting, design, development, and documentation of solutions within SAP S/4HANA, focusing on the Order-to-Cash process with an emphasis on delivery and logistics. Your expertise will support the continuous enhancement of our SAP landscape, ensuring solutions are sustainable, secure, and scalable to meet the evolving needs of our global business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including application consultants, process owners, key users, and external partners, to deliver high-quality solutions that optimize our operational workflows and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification. You should have several years of professional experience in SAP development, particularly with ABAP OO, UI5, and Fiori technologies. A solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and fundamental process knowledge within the Order-to-Cash environment is essential. Additionally, experience with CDS views, IDOCs, and web services is advantageous. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with a structured working approach, are vital for success in this role. Familiarity with SAP technical components and a proactive attitude towards learning and innovation will help you excel in this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting, conceptual design, development, and documentation of SAP S/4HANA solutions, focusing on the Order-to-Cash process and delivery logistics.
- Ensure that developed solutions prioritize sustainability, security, and scalability, aligning with corporate standards and strategic goals.
- Conduct developer testing to verify stability, functionality, and quality of solutions before deployment.
- Operate and support existing SAP applications, addressing optimization and support requests to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
- Manage the rollout of new developments across various business units and facilitate the integration of different organizational areas into the global SAP S/4HANA system.
- Coordinate closely with application consultants, process owners, key users, and external partners to ensure seamless implementation and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the strategic development of the OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes, contributing innovative concepts and technological advancements.
