About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Developer specializing in Machine Learning (m/w/d) to join our team in Kaufbeuren. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms that enhance our simulation software and systems. Your expertise will contribute to building intelligent solutions that improve the accuracy and efficiency of our products used in flight training and air traffic management. You will work on integrating ML models into existing applications, analyzing large datasets to refine models, and scaling ML pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of aviation simulation technology, working on innovative projects that impact air traffic safety worldwide.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. You should have practical experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Knowledge of programming languages like C++ and Java is advantageous. Experience with deploying and operating ML systems, including API integration, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines, is essential. You should be adept at data processing, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques. Cloud and infrastructure skills, including familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and platforms like OpenAI, are highly desirable. A strong interest in innovative topics related to simulation software and air traffic control, along with excellent German and English language skills, is required. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
