Pros: The best part is definitely the people and the positive, innovative startup culture. As a Junior Software Engineer, I felt supported by my team in the Austin office, and there's a real focus on learning and growth in the tech industry here. We often had fun team events too.
Cons: It's tough; sometimes it feels like there are too many projects for the team size. This leads to longer hours than expected, especially nearing release dates, which can be draining. The work-life balance isn't always great because of the constant push.
Advice to Management: Management needs to realistically assess project timelines and team capacity. It would help a lot with burnout if there was more focus on preventing overwork, especially for engineering roles. Maybe hire a few more people.
