Work4Germany ist ein Fellowship-Programm, das seit 2020 methodenstarke Expert:innen für neue Arbeit (genannt „Fellows“) aus der Privatwirtschaft mit Mitarbeitenden aus der Bundesverwaltung zusammenbringt. Während des sechsmonatigen Fellowships arbeiten sie in Teams gemeinsam an Herausforderungen in der (Zusammen-)Arbeit, gestalten Arbeitsabläufe neu und setzen einen Fokus auf iterative und nutzerzentrierte Arbeitsweisen in verschiedenen Projekten. Begleitet werden sie dabei von unserem erfahrenen Fellowship-Team und passgenauen Austauschformaten.

Pros: The company culture is generally collaborative and inclusive, which I've really enjoyed as a Project Manager. There's a strong emphasis on learning and development, with opportunities to attend workshops and training sessions relevant to the HR Tech industry. The flexible work arrangement, allowing for hybrid work, has been a major plus for maintaining a good work-life balance. I also find the projects we work on to be meaningful.
Cons: While leadership is generally supportive, communication sometimes feels a bit siloed between departments, which can occasionally slow down cross-functional initiatives. Sometimes, the workload can become quite demanding during peak periods, stretching the work-life balance thinner than ideal. More proactive feedback mechanisms could also be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing cross-departmental communication channels to streamline project workflows and ensure consistent workload distribution.
