Pros: The best part is definitely the people. My colleagues are brilliant and always willing to help out, creating a supportive environment. I've learned so much about full-stack development and agile methodologies. The hybrid work setup in the New York City office is also a big plus for me.
Cons: Sometimes, project direction can feel a bit fluid, leading to occasional scope creep or rework. Communication between departments could also be more consistent to ensure everyone is on the same page for larger initiatives. More defined onboarding for new hires would also be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the strong team culture and invest in clearer, more consistent cross-departmental communication channels. Streamlining project management processes would also boost efficiency.

Pros: I've been a Software Engineer here for a while and it's been a really positive experience. There are great opportunities for learning and career development, especially with the diverse projects we tackle in the tech industry. My colleagues are super collaborative, always willing to help out. The hybrid work model is a huge plus, offering good work-life balance. It's a stable place to be.
Cons: The biggest drawback I've seen is that the promotion process for Software Engineers can sometimes feel a bit opaque. While learning is encouraged, advancing requires a lot of self-advocacy. Also, some internal approval workflows can be a bit slow, which occasionally delays getting things done.
Advice to Management: Work on making the career progression framework clearer for all roles, especially for experienced Software Engineers, and streamline some of the internal approval processes.

Cons: Sometimes project timelines felt a bit ambitious, leading to occasional crunch periods. While leadership is accessible, more transparent communication about long-term company strategy would be beneficial for everyone.
