Pros: I've really enjoyed my time at xdeck as a Senior Software Engineer. The team collaboration is excellent, and there are always opportunities to learn new technologies in the software development space. Our leadership encourages knowledge sharing, and the remote work flexibility has been fantastic for my personal life. The company culture is genuinely supportive, which makes a big difference.
Cons: While the day-to-day operations are stable, there's occasionally a lack of transparency regarding long-term company strategy and direction, which can make job security feel a bit uncertain at times for employees in the tech industry. Clarifying overall business goals more frequently would alleviate some of these concerns.
Advice to Management: Improve communication on long-term strategic plans to enhance employee confidence and job security perception. More frequent updates on business direction would be beneficial for the software development teams.
