Grow togetherJoin the Group API (UTAPI) team to build DHL’s global Shipment Tracking API, powering real-time tracking for customers and partners worldwide.
You will work in a modern, cloud-based microservices environment, developing scalable APIs used across DHL.
- Support the design, development and operation of scalable API services
- Combine backend development and operational tasks
- Contribute to testing, automation and continuous improvement
- Integrate systems across multiple DHL platforms and services
- Build API capabilities & developing optimization algorithms
- Deployment of an application that is used worldwide
Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
- Practical knowledge of Java (Apache Camel, Spring/Spring Boot)
- CI/CD, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra
- Willingness to constantly learn
- Solid understanding of automation, testing and networking concepts
Nice to have:
- We welcome experience with Cloud, Data & Messaging technologies
- Previous exposure to microservices concepts, patterns and frameworks is a huge plus

Great TeamHi, my name is Josef Glemba and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2017, when I took a role as Senior Architect. Gaining more hands-on experience with Cloud, API Architecture and Product Ownership has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Digital Solutions team. In 2024, I moved to a management role, being Manager of API Solutions. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – technology.
