Java Software Engineer | Spring Boot & REST API

Are you a Java developer looking for an opportunity to work on modern applications and APIs in an international environment?
Join a software engineering team in Prague and contribute to the development and modernization of applications used across different countries. You’ll work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and cloud-native technologies, while collaborating with technical and business colleagues across regions.
One of the current projects focuses on modernizing selected applications by moving them from .NET to Java. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore generative AI, agentic AI and AI-assisted development tools as part of your work.
💻 What you’ll do:
- Develop and enhance Java applications and REST APIs
- Work with Spring Boot and cloud-native technologies
- Design and implement technical solutions from concept to deployment
- Work on system integrations and API-driven applications
- Focus on scalability, performance, maintainability and security
- Contributing to CI/CD, development standards and code quality
- Participate in technical and architectural discussions
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders across different countries
👉 What you bring:
- At least 2 years of experience with Java development
- Understanding of cloud-native application development
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Advanced English for day-to-day collaboration in an international environment

- Spring Boot
- Experience developing REST APIs
- React
- Generative or agentic AI
- Experience with AI-assisted software development
