Pros: I've really appreciated the chance to work on interesting projects here at PayScan. Being in the fintech space means we're often dealing with cutting-edge technology and complex problems, which is great for skill development. The team collaboration is strong; everyone is generally willing to help out, which makes tackling tough challenges much more manageable. The office environment in Santiago is pleasant, and the company does provide a decent set of benefits.
Cons: My main constructive feedback revolves around compensation. While the pay is adequate, it doesn't always feel competitive, especially considering the demanding nature of fintech roles and the cost of living in Santiago. Sometimes project timelines can feel a bit rushed, leading to longer hours than ideal, though this isn't constant. More transparent communication regarding long-term strategic goals could also be beneficial for team alignment.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing compensation benchmarks to ensure competitiveness for key technical roles. More frequent and clear communication on strategic direction would also be valued.
