Rating Reviews
Rating is calculated based on

review and is evolving.
Pros: The remote-friendly environment is a huge advantage here. As a Software Engineer, I appreciate the ability to set my own schedule and manage my workday to fit personal needs, whether it's appointments or family time. This level of autonomy fosters a lot of trust and contributes to a healthy work-life balance. The tech stack is modern, and colleagues are generally very collaborative.
Cons: Sometimes, with such a flexible setup, cross-team communication can be a bit fragmented, requiring extra effort to align on projects. Also, while career progression opportunities exist, they aren't always explicitly laid out, which can make long-term planning slightly challenging. A clearer roadmap for advancement would be beneficial for engineers.
Advice to Management: Continue to support and enhance tools for asynchronous communication across distributed teams to ensure everyone stays aligned on project goals.

What is the typical salary range for a Quantitative Analyst in a large financial firm in New York City?
In my experience as a Quant at a major investment bank in NYC, the base salary for an entry-level role can range from $100,000 to $130,000, with bonuses often doubling that. Senior Quants in the fintech industry here can expect significantly higher compensation packages.
