Hapimag AG was founded in 1963 as an economically attractive and ecologically sensible alternative to owning a holiday home. Instead of a single holiday home in one location, we share 56 holiday resorts with over 5,000 holiday apartments in popular destinations across Europe – by the sea, in the mountains, or in cities. As a sharing community, together with our shareholders, we take on economic, social, and ecological responsibility.
In the 2024 financial year, we welcomed 441,903 guests to our resorts and recorded a total of 2.6 million overnight stays. The average satisfaction of our guests across all resorts was 4.6 out of a possible 5.0 points. The 2024 annual report of Hapimag AG is available at www.hapimag.com/ar2024.

Pros: The biggest upside to working at Hapimag is the inherent stability in the European travel and hospitality industry. As a long-standing company, job security is quite high, which is a major plus. The employee benefits, particularly the travel discounts and opportunities, are fantastic for anyone passionate about exploring.
Cons: While job security is strong, career progression can feel a bit slow or bureaucratic at times. Sometimes decision-making processes seem a bit drawn out, which can impact agility. There's also room for improvement in how new digital tools are integrated across all departments to streamline operations.
Advice to Management: Consider faster adoption of modern collaboration tools and more transparent communication about internal career path opportunities to foster employee growth.

Pros: I've really enjoyed my time at Hapimag. The company culture is quite supportive, and I've found a great team here in the Marketing department. There's a decent amount of job security being part of a well-established tourism company. The work environment is collaborative, and I appreciate the consistent workflow. It's a positive place to grow within the hospitality industry.
Cons: While the team and culture are strong, the compensation for a Marketing Coordinator could be more competitive compared to other companies in the region. The benefits package is solid but could be enhanced with more modern offerings. Pay and benefit reviews feel a bit infrequent, which impacts motivation sometimes. More transparency on career progression paths would also be a plus.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the current compensation structures and benefits package to ensure they remain competitive for talent, especially in specialized roles like Marketing Coordinator. Investing more in professional development and clearer career paths would also greatly benefit employee retention and morale across the hospitality group.

Pros: There's a definite sense of stability working for Hapimag, a well-established player in the holiday ownership sector. The team I worked with was generally supportive and professional, and I often enjoyed the problem-solving aspects of guest services, contributing to positive holiday experiences. The location in Steinhausen is pleasant, and the core business model is sound.
Cons: While day-to-day operations were fine, strategic communication from senior leadership sometimes felt a bit distant or inconsistent, leading to occasional confusion about broader company direction. There were also moments where processes felt a bit dated, hindering efficiency, which could be improved with more modern tech solutions.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer, more consistent communication from the top about strategic priorities. Investing in modernizing some internal systems could also boost efficiency and employee engagement significantly for those in office roles.
