Pros: The best part about working at Plex is the genuine flexibility offered. As a remote employee, I appreciate the trust placed in us to manage our own schedules. The engineering team is made up of really smart, collaborative people who are always willing to help out. There are interesting technical challenges to solve, and I feel like I'm constantly learning new things, which is great for career growth.
Cons: While leadership is generally good, communication about broader company strategy can sometimes feel a bit sparse or unclear. This occasionally makes it hard to connect daily tasks to the larger vision. Also, while the pay is competitive for the industry, the benefits package, particularly health insurance, could be more robust compared to some other tech companies I've seen.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the collaborative culture and remote flexibility. Consider more transparent communication regarding company-wide goals and strategy to better align teams.
