Pros: The company offers decent hybrid work options for office staff in the Wichita, KS office, which is a big plus. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I did get some flexibility for personal appointments, which was nice to have.
Cons: However, for those of us on the production floor in composites manufacturing, there's not much work-from-home. You're pretty much expected to be onsite for standard 8-hour shifts, which makes any sort of schedule adjustment tough.
Advice to Management: Managers should try to find ways to offer more flexibility for production staff, even small things. Maybe compressed work weeks or staggered shifts could help improve work-life balance for people on the floor.
