Pros: I appreciated the job security and the stability that comes with working for a large, established company in the pharmacy benefit management sector. The team I worked with was fantastic, always willing to help each other out. The benefits package was solid, and it was a generally predictable work environment. Good for gaining experience in a corporate setting.
Cons: Navigating internal processes could sometimes be frustratingly slow, and getting updates or implementing new ideas felt like a challenge. Opportunities for significant career growth within my specific department seemed limited without moving into management or a very different role. The technology could use an upgrade in some areas.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some internal workflows and investing in modernizing outdated systems to improve efficiency and employee experience. More transparency on career pathing would be beneficial.
