Pros: I've really appreciated the collaborative atmosphere here at Berkeley Payments. The leadership team, especially my direct manager, has been super supportive, always willing to guide and empower us. There are good opportunities to learn about the prepaid card and payments industry, which is dynamic and interesting. I've grown a lot in my Client Support Specialist role by tackling diverse challenges and working with a dedicated team in Toronto.
Cons: While the leadership is great, sometimes communication could be more streamlined when it comes to company-wide initiatives, especially in our fast-paced FinTech environment. There can be periods of heavy workload, which occasionally impacts work-life balance for Client Support Specialists, especially during critical project launches or busy seasons. Faster approval processes for some client requests would also be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering open communication channels and consider streamlining internal approval processes to alleviate pressure during peak periods. Support staff with tools to manage heavy workloads.
