We often had opportunities to contribute to different modules within our product suite, which kept things interesting. The stability of Maplesoft is a definite plus, making it feel secure.
Cons: While growth opportunities exist, they can sometimes feel a bit slow or tied to specific project needs rather than a structured career path. Communication between departments, particularly between engineering and some global marketing efforts, could occasionally be smoother. Some older internal tools could benefit from modernization to improve efficiency, though this isn't a major daily hindrance.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more transparent pathways for skill development and advancement. Streamlining inter-departmental communication on product roadmaps would also be beneficial.
