Pros: I've found the work flexibility pretty solid, especially with the hybrid model. As a Security Analyst, I can often WFH a few days a week, which really helps with personal stuff. They don't usually push for crazy overtime in the cybersecurity industry.
Cons: There are definitely busy seasons or incident response periods that can hit your work-life balance hard. On-call rotations can be tough, especially when you're a junior analyst in the Austin, TX office. It's not always a consistent 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Try to better staff for peak times to reduce the burden on individual security analysts, and consider rotating on-call duties more evenly among senior staff to ease the load on newer team members.
