Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or related industries.
• Strong experience in SME banking, corporate banking, portfolio management, or banking product strategy.
• Proven skills in business analysis, sales planning, product performance management, sales planning and data-driven decision making.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Tech-savvy, reporting/dashboard tools and familiar with AI or digital analytics tools is an added advantage.

As the Senior Manager, Venue Sales & Event Management at ALPHA GALAXY SDN. BHD., you will lead the sales, business development, event coordination and operational management of our 21,000 sq ft multi-purpose event venue in Puncak Alam Selangor. This role is responsible for developing the venue as a revenue-generating business by driving event bookings, managing client relationships, overseeing event execution, coordinating vendors and internal support teams, and ensuring a professional venue experience for corporate, private and community events.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop and implement venue sales and business development strategies to drive event bookings, rental revenue and venue utilisation.

You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on building strong merchant relationships and driving revenue growth. This includes identifying opportunities, pitching campaigns, and driving adoption of GrabPay and PayLater solutions.

You will also support business development initiatives and work cross-functionally to execute strategies. This role reports to the Manager, Key Account Management.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts and build strong relationships through regular engagement with merchant stakeholders.
• Drive merchant growth by executing promotional campaigns, partnerships, and adoption of GrabPay and PayLater solutions.
• Identify and resolve merchant issues (e.g., settlement, technical), and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to track performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze performance data to develop initiatives that increase revenue and profitability in line with targets.
• Monitor market and competitor trends to identify opportunities for category growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Marketing, Product, Tech) to support merchant needs, including campaigns, integrations, and reporting.
• Partner with marketing teams to execute campaigns, events, and other merchant engagement initiatives.

Test Planning & Execution

• Support the preparation of test plans and checklists, including developing comprehensive test scenarios to validate new features.
• Execute testing and validation activities for firmware changes and new feature implementations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Analyze test results, verify the effectiveness of code changes, and document findings clearly.
• Support hardware teams by providing clarity on test algorithms, feature behavior, and validation expectations.

Debugging & Issue Resolution

• Perform failure analysis (FA) and debugging for code-related and test setup issues.
• Identify root causes and propose potential solutions or corrective actions.

Test Environment

• Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of automated test scripts using relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing methodologies, workflows, and tools.

• Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining test environments, instruments, and related equipment.

Collaboration & Communication

• Participate in team meetings, design discussions, and sprint activities as required.
• Provide timely progress updates on assigned tasks and highlight risks or challenges proactively.

As a Product Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to craft user experiences that balance innovation, feasibility, and impact. You’ll draw on user insights, data, and market research to inform design decisions, while staying ahead of UX/UI trends and competitor strategies. Hands-on involvement in user research and testing across Southeast Asia will deepen your understanding of our users and ensure designs are validated and refined to deliver meaningful results.

You will report to Designer Manager and work full-time onsite at the Grab Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

You will have a direct impact to the program goals of LEAD (Leadership Experience and Accelerated Development), an Early Career Program of Avery Dennison Materials Group APAC, while gaining many insights to the Talent Acquisitions function and business environment as well as various stakeholders as you interact with them to achieve the program impact.
