The part you will play
We are looking for an experienced People Operation Specialist to you will be an active contributor in a wide range of HR activities. This will involve providing support on day to day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, employee engagement, culture, HR reporting, etc. You will also get a chance to participate in a host of HR projects. This role will be reporting to our Regional People Operations Lead.
As a People Ops Specialist, you will take charge of
- Handle onboarding, offboarding and transfer administration for all people movements such as new hires, promotions, transfers, re-designation, resignations and terminations
- Support new joiners’ onboarding and leavers’ offboarding process, including collating staff movement announcements, planning and executing teams orientation and other engagement programs such as office welcome tour, interns community program
- Coordinates office facilities contracts and related operations
- Monitor, upkeep and ensure security and accuracy of employees' records and documents in HRIS
- Maintain and update employee handbook, guidelines, policies, and process flows.
- Process employee requests for information and related employment visas, permits, and regulatory applications
- Generate timekeeping and deductibles reports for payroll.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness of people decisions
- Participate and contribute towards implementation of local and regional HR projects, strategies and initiatives.
- Execute Employer Branding initiatives to build a powerful B2B brand presence that attracts top of funnel candidates
- Assist in implementing Performance Management process and Employee Relations
- Facilitate setup of Employee Engagement activities, including but not limited to Company Team building, and Country Town Halls, games nights, AMAs, events, etc
- Partake in research and development of Culture building initiatives, as well as learning and development opportunities for employees
- Assist in streamlining current HR processes and payroll & benefits procedures
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned such as office management and administrative functions

- 2-4 years of relevant experience in the same role

- Resourceful team player who is confident to bring ideas to the table
- Detailed-oriented with strong people, organizational, and administrative skills
- Proficient in MS Office 365 and MS office suite, as well as Google Suite
- Must be degree qualified, preferably with a specialization in Human Resources or Social Sciences, such as Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Organizational Behavior, and the like
- Knowledge of employment laws, e.g. Labor Code, Statutory Benefits, OSH and the like, is an advantage
- Able to start work immediately or with short notice is an advantage
