Job Description
Facilities Engineer will be responsible as a system owner on designated Facility System and Equipments for its operation, maintenance, and engineering. He/She will be able to routinely use technical judgment in solving problems making routine recommendations and improving existing work processes. He/She will make substantial technical contributions to the success of the department using proven solutions for complex technical problems. He/She will listen to customer feedback, recognize opportunities and provide feedback for technical innovation. Decision could impact quality and schedule of projects but would generally be contained to the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and provide remote and on-site technical assistance to service teams and customers.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform PLC programming, image detection, sensing technology, etc. according to product requirements.
- Carry out installation of process instrumentation, testing and commissioning job at site.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems for upgrades or retrofits.
- Configure and calibrate electrical components such as sensors, drives, motors, PLCs, and safety devices.
- Coordinate with software and mechanical teams for integrated system adjustments.
- Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and control panels.
- Perform corrective maintenance to restore system functionality and reduce downtime.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and quality standards.
- Identify required spare parts for maintenance and repairs.
- Work with the procurement team to ensure availability of critical electrical components.
Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS)
- Follow all EHSS procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
- Ensure compliance of all facility equipments in accordance to regulations
- Ensure compliance of daily activity in facility within the regulatory permissible limit.
Cost Reduction
He/She is responsible for reducing costs associated within the area. This responsibility may include owning and completing cost reduction projects, identifying cost effective sustaining/manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost conscious culture.
