The Implementation Coordinator helps keep our finance system projects on track by managing the technical and administrative details that ensure a successful go-live. A major Belgian administrative firm is expanding its reporting infrastructure, and this role will support the rollout of their new systems by coordinating task lists, updating project documentation, and assisting with basic data validation. Working in a fully remote environment, you will bridge the gap between our senior consultants and the client's finance team to make sure every requirement is met with precision.
About Alpine Business Consulting
Alpine Business Consulting works at the intersection of finance processes and the systems that support them. We specialize in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and analytics, helping finance teams fix platforms that never delivered on their promises. While we build new systems from scratch, much of our work involves remediating existing setups in Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and Power BI. We focus on the numbers side of the house, ensuring that consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and reporting pipelines reflect how a finance team actually operates.
Our approach moves away from typical implementation theatre. We prioritize finance-first configurations and fixed-price engagements, giving our clients certainty before any work begins. We do not believe in keeping clients dependent on us. Instead, we build administrator training and documentation into every project so teams can run their systems independently after go-live. We are a remote-first team of consultants who understand that a dashboard is only useful if the data is accurate to the cent and available the morning a period closes. Whether it is a cloud migration or a complex forecasting model, we value precision over presentation.
What You Will Do - Maintain project schedules and task logs to ensure all implementation steps for our Belgian client are completed on time.
- Assist senior consultants with the initial setup and configuration of EPM software modules based on project requirements.
- Document system configuration steps and create user manuals that help client finance teams manage their own systems.
- Perform basic data reconciliations between legacy systems and new reporting tools to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions, capturing feedback from finance users and logging technical issues.
- Organize project meetings and prepare status reports that highlight completed tasks and upcoming milestones.
- Update internal knowledge bases with project findings to help improve our implementation templates.
- Review financial reports within Power BI or Oracle EPM to verify that formatting and formulas align with the project scope.
What We Are Looking For - A basic understanding of accounting or finance principles, such as the difference between a balance sheet and a P&L.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple small tasks without losing sight of the deadline.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including the use of basic formulas and data formatting.
- Clear writing skills for creating professional documentation and instructional guides.
- Natural curiosity about how software systems work and a desire to learn technical configuration.
- The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying in close communication with the team.
- A degree in finance, business, information systems, or a related field is helpful but not strictly required.
- Interest in data visualization or business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
What We Offer - The opportunity to learn Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) from senior consultants in a hands-on environment.
- A fully remote work arrangement that allows you to manage your day without a commute.
- A permanent, full-time position with a focus on professional growth and technical skill building.
- Competitive pay for the entry-level market, reflecting the value you bring to our project delivery.
- Exposure to large-scale finance projects for major international organizations.
- A work culture that values accuracy and substance over corporate presentations and long meetings.
- Practical experience with industry-standard tools like Oracle and SAP.
How We Work
We operate on a philosophy of transparency and results. Our projects use fixed prices and clearly defined scopes, which means we focus on doing the work right rather than billing as many hours as possible. Because we are remote-first, we rely on clear communication and documentation to stay aligned. We do not aim to stay on a project forever: our goal is to build a system that works so well, and provide training that is so thorough, that the client is fully equipped to take over the day we finish. We believe that a successful implementation is one where the client no longer needs us to keep the lights on.
